About My Approach

The Vision

Our children face more challenges in their day to day life now than ever before. Social media, peer pressure and negative influences are all contributors to their struggle growing up in a world full of adult pressures. Its no surprise that our teenage generation are suffering from record high statistics of anxiety and mental health issues.

I believe that many of the challenges our children face could be managed more efficiently with increased self esteem/worth. If they can improve their sense of belonging and feel they have a place in the world, exactly as they are, their resilience will grow and they will feel unstoppable.

Get in Touch

What i can do

During an initial 15 minute chemistry call I can explain what I have to offer, and explore your child's needs. After this we can arrange future sessions at a frequency that best suits the needs of you and your child. I tailor the sessions and allow these to be lead by the young person, I will encourage conversation around self esteem, relationships, consent, social media management, changing bodies, drugs and alcohol, sex education, this list is not exhaustive. All conversations will be age appropriate and built on trust, education and knowledge. I'm very passionate about children understanding their rights and developing the skills to keep themselves safe, this empowers them to make smart choices and be the best versions of themselves.

There is no set times or dates and no up front payment. Each session can be paid for at the time and following session slots pre arranged. All sessions with your child are confidential and information will only be shared with your child's knowledge if there is a safeguarding concern.

Feedback

Straight From the Source

Here is an example from some of the feedback about my practice.

Hannah Winn

Caroline has so much energy for Coaching and Learning & Development and her approach can be inspiring. Caroline always works in a way that suits the coachee, often working in a locality that considers our learners' needs and life-balance. She can adapt her approach with any person in any situation depending on the support levels they require. Having years of knowledge, she can help coachees make the best of their time and resources. Apart from being highly child-centric with the young people, recently Caroline reassured and supported a member of the team who had been struggling in her relationship with the child. Caz suggested actions to support rebuilding the relationship in a meaningful way for the child and the team member. It was tailored to the situation and by establishing the child’s and carer's needs quickly, she could really target the support required.

I have recently completed my coaching sessions with Caroline, which I am very grateful I was given the opportunity to do as her guidance has been paramount in developing my confidence. Her ability to help people feel empowered is incredible. Throughout our sessions we worked together to streamline my goals, and she was able to provide a space for me to consider and discuss other perspectives and options that I hadn’t previously thought of. She champions an open culture through the constant use of reflective practice and adapting her approach to meet the needs of the individual. Caroline has the natural ability to make me recognise my own potential and help to guide me towards it. Caroline is insightful, equal measures of supportive and professionally challenging, and able to analyse the key issues by listening to what I was saying and asking the questions I needed to hear. As a result, I have been able to pinpoint areas for change, think through different approaches, bounce ideas back and forth to then take action where I needed to.”
